Norm Macdonald / Dr. Dre featuring Snoop Dogg & Eminem
October 23, 1999

[OPENING] Rudy Giuliani makes a World Series bet
This was pretty funny, Darrell Hamonds Giuliani was pretty good,
pretty good skit
I still HATE the Yankees though.
RATING: 7 out of 10

[MONOLOGUE] Norm Macdonald
Great monologue, true too, it was great to see Norm back.
RATING: 8 out of 10

[SKETCH] Martha Stewart Living promo
This was ok, but it didn't make enough fun of Martha Stewart though
RATING: 6 out of 10

[SKETCH] Great Moments in Yankee History
LOL, this was awesome. It was short, but I was cracking up.
RATING: 8 out of 10

[SKETCH] Celebrity Jeopardy
I love celebrity jeopardy, but this one wasn't the best, it was ok. Fallon's French Stewart impression seemed better the first time he did it though.
RATING: 7 out of 10

[SKETCH] NBC Crosstalk: How Thin is Too Thin?
This made me laugh a couple of times. The thing with Ally McBeal was hilarious.
RATING: 6 out of 10

[SKETCH] Larry King's News and Views
This was another thing that was funny, but it was funnier the first time they did it on the show.
RATING: 6 out of 10

[CARTOON] Fun with Real Audio
What the hell?? I thought this was gone? It was funny as hell though.
LOL
RATING: 7 out of 10

[SKETCH] Larry King's News and Views
Again...funny but not its best.
RATING: 6 out of 10

[WEEKEND UPDATE] Colin Quinn
An ok update, but not too excellent, I guess it was an off night.
RATING: 5 out of 10

[MUSICAL GUEST] Dr. Dre featuring Snoop Dogg
HA, yeah right...

[SKETCH] The McMulluns argue at Halloween
LOL, this was the best skit of the show. I love it when Norm goes on his yelling rants
RATING: 8.5 out of 10

[SKETCH] Michael Jackson drowns his sorrows
this was another pretty good skit
RATING: 7 out of 10

[MUSICAL GUEST] Dr. Dre featuring Eminem
not

[SKETCH] Bravo's Inside the Actors Studio
this was ok i guess...the impressions were both funny
RATING: 6 out of 10

[COMMERCIAL] Chess for Girls
I liked this skit...the first time it was on, last year.

OVERALL

It was great to see Norm back, although I was expecting a little more from him. It was a good effort and all but the writing was a little weak this week. It wasn't too bad, I guess because norm was just like a regular cast member, so it was almost like having a show with no host.
