EPISODE REVIEWS

Alan Cumming / Jennifer Lopez
February 5, 2000

Candidates: Really funny, especially a crazy George W. Bush. I guess if
Gore wins Darrell doesn't have to worry about saying good-bye to
Clinton.
Grade: A+

Monologue: Not bad. Tracy as the cat topped it off. Grade: A+

Liquor Commercial: This was my favorite of the season. Maybe Tracy's
best moment, one as Aunt Jemima, and then as the guy swatting at the
cartoons.
Grade: A+

The Two Of Us/Chicken: What the hell? Other then Cheri as Yoko Ono
this was horrendous. And so early in the show? Grade: F

Culps: These characters are better this season. I liked when they were
trying to talk to the audience in the beggining. Grade: A

Dog Show: I cringed when this first came on, but I have to admit that
this one was pretty good with Mr. Bojangles' alcohol problem. Grade: A+

Glen Frey: How gross was this? And what's Ben Stiller doing back
again? He quits the show after a few episodes 11 years ago and suddenly
he's back?
Grade: F

Weekend Update: Good update with Tracy's black histroy moment and Bill
Clinton's commentary. Grade: A+

Ziegfried and Roy: Not bad, and of course Cheri as the tiger woman
topped it off, although we could have done without the van scene.
Grade: B+

Dolls: Ana was hilarious again as the host bringing her personal life
problems into the show. The looks on the baby's faces were hilarious.
Grade: A+

Overall: An allright show, although not one to be one of the memorable
ones of the season. I'm surprised at how funny Tracy was is in this
episode. He's finally getting sone air time after 4 seasons. By the
way, what happened to Horatio Sanz? Grade: B
