Hello...I don't really know what to say here, so I'll just start. Oh, here, I found my words... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE RERUN THE SPADE EPISODE!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!! I KNOW YOU WON'T HEAR MY PLEA BUT IT'S STILL HEALTHY TO DO THIS, SO PLEASE, OH WONDERFUL NATIONAL BROADCASTING COMPANY, RERUN SPADE NEXT WEEK AFTER BARRYMORE!!!!
[OPENING] Barbara Walters looking for phone sex
"It's fun.Hehehehhahahahah."Hahah.Monica said oral sex was fun.Barbara thinks Tom is a piece of meat.Poor girl, and Hilary as well, both desparate, lonely, betrayed people."Let me be your octopussy!!"...A comment taken from the mouth from Cheri Oteri for this sketch "Me like, me like!!"
[MONOLOGUE] Ray Romano
Ray seems tall.Like, 5 foot 11.Wow.The audience likes his kids.Yeah, he must be proud.Funny story he told on Rosie O'Donnell...said he was washing his baby boy, and he guesses the water stimulated him, so his kid stood up and said "Peepee big!!!"Hilarious.Jingly keys, that really did make me laugh.Funny how something you don't expect to laugh at actually makes you do when the right person does it.I mean, what would your reaction be if I jiggled some house keys?Nice Cameo. He's funny in a tired, stand up way.My Giant sucked, heehee.
[SKETCH] ESPN SportsCenter
Dennis Rodman at a Clinique counter, hahah.Booyah is a funny word...not sure bout spelling, so excuse it.This sketch was funny if you know basketball, which I do in a way.Sweet Sassy Mollasy, that quote reminds me of one of Phil Hartman's characters, the editor of Sassy magazine or something, and his little catch phrase would be "That's Sassy!!!"...poor guy, may he be in heaven.Booyah, the puck in the poofer. This skit was bland, yet enticing.
[COMMERCIAL] VH1 Behind the Music: Meatloaf
Objects in rear view mirror may be closer than they appear. They're doing these promos again???Horatio was funny,as always.B+
[SKETCH] Roberto Benigni has restaurant in stitches
Ray Romano seems italian, even when he's not doing Roberto Benigni.I dunno, he has that " I'm Italian" essence while still shouting out " I'm not italian, what are you talking about?"...great impression, had it all, the look, the accent, the rambling on."Roberto Benigni just scalded me with hot soup!!!"Heheh, laughing, and giggling and tickling and sucking.Even if only impersonated, Roberto Benigni brings joy to all.
[SKETCH] Pimp Chat
Before you get the honey, you must recieve the money.Heheh.The Pimp of Da Month thing was funny. This was tidbitted funny, especially at the end with Horatio... fat prostitutes are funnier than skinny ones, although I bet skinny ones get picked up more...duh.This sorta failed, in a way, it was unappealing, but still, was rigged with magnets of laughter.B-
[WEEKEND UPDATE] with Colin Quinn
You know that rumour about Colin leaving??If it is true, which I spose it is, then here's the deal...
Since he's "leaving", I think he's trying less to make people laugh, and he's less enthusiastic, and cuz of his negativeness, he get's booing laughs, like "Booohahahah!!!Booo!!!",and because he's less enthusiastic, it's like, reverse psychology, and he's more funny. In other words, this WKUP actually was unusually great. And during the real interview, Monica did seem jumpy and happy and gloating and radiant.Fantasy Barbie and Col.Cheri has a good point. And yeah, why doesn't he call her anymore??
[MUSICAL GUEST] The Corrs
Pretty good.At the first part, it had a "lazy,yawny,stoned, 3:00 PM on a Saturday"feel to it.I HATE those feelings.Then when they did that Irish thing,it got better...With drums.That's new.This was good, but...bad.
[SKETCH] Suel Forrester at the NCAA
If you ever watch King Of the Hill, doesn't Suel Forrester remind you of Boomhauer??... "What?Huh?Do I pee on my shelves?"Retarded coconut, hahahah.I didn't know Jimmy was buff.Well,sorta.It's just that I thought he was like, flimsy.Cherry poptarts, haha.Again, this thing was unfunny, yet funny."We were confused."
[SKETCH] Office guy resorts to crying
You know that song "Don't Cry Out Loud"?...Will had funny crying noises."It was just hard!!!!'Reminds me of me...I used to cry like that at school."I want that lady to leave!!"Ex-plo-it.Sound it out, yeah, that's some good advice."You Eat Poo!!!"... and grapes really are good.
[MUSICAL GUEST] The Corrs
Why is Irish music never depressing??That bugs me.It's always happy and sunny and quiet in a loud way and you have to like it or else something's wrong with you.Man.Those are the same people whose culture makes you wear green on St. Patrick's Day or else we get pinched.
[SKETCH] Quit judging my dreams!
Hot dogs and dreams.Pasta, and wine, and hobos, and Mary Ellen, and sex slaves, and screws, and home runs. And dongs.Shaun Hitler.Poor guy to have a bad last name.
OVERALL:This episode was one of contrast. Many sketches were
good, yet bad, yet good again. And yet bad.Yet good. And is it just
me, or did the audience,I dunno, get paid to laugh really hard
at stuff that wasn't even funny?
