EPISODE REVIEWS

Kelsey Grammer / Sheryl Crow
October 3, 1998

Opening: Bedtime at the white house.

This was funny mostly because it probably true. I liked how even the weather channel was on Clintons' case.

Monologue Kelsey Grammer

Dumb. It was a bad premise, and it was poorly executed.

Commercial: KCF shredders

This was ammusing, not great, but good. The format of the commercial was realistic, and there were some funny lines.

Delicious Dish

Not a big fan of this, it moves too slow, and lasts too long. Grammer was the only good part.

6 out of 10

Terry Ferguson

Pretty good. Will Ferrel can be just about anybody, and he pulled it off again

8 out of 10

Big Bernard

This was funny as all hell. Tracy Morgan looked so tiny incomparison to shaq, and the whole premise was great.

9 out of 10

Terry Ferguson

More of a good thing. "Just thinking about sex gives him phantom pains"

8 out of 10

Rick Stone

Im not sure what was going on here, it was kind of funny, but dumb at the same time

6 out of 10

Hose em down

This was funny only because of the "hose em down" repetition. The baywatch girl satire was decent as well

7 out of 10

The Best of Horatio Sanz

This was funny, but the whole fake video commerical will start wearing thin soon

Weekend update

Again, i liked the opening in front of the blue screen, and while it was a little short, most of the jokes were good. Hurricane Georges worked out good.

Musical guest

Didn't catch it.

N/A

Mr Peepers

Ive always liked this. This one wasn't the best, but it was funny as usual

Maakies

What is up with this? It completely sucks, and isn't funny at all.

Morning Latte

This was alright, but im not even a huge fan of this one. It worked out ok, but, it was kind of obvious Shaq was just plugging his albumn

6 out of 10

Hello Dolly

Eh, it was ok, nothing special.

5 out of 10

Lumberjack Classic

I liked this alot, and it was pretty strong for so late in the show.

8 out of 10

Overall

It was decent, but not as good as the season opener. Now with the two week break, it should comeback better.
