Sarah Michelle Gellar / Backstreet Boys
May 15, 1999

[OPENING] Marty and Bobbie Culp at graduation party - A good sketch
overall. Started slow, but then got hilarious once Fatboy Slim was
imitated.
A-

[MONOLOGUE] Sarah Michelle Gellar - Easily one of the best, maybe even the
best monologue's of the season. Will Ferrell was great, "Hello me lady"!
Horatio Sanz was hilarious, and so was everyone else involved.
A+

[SKETCH] The Tiger Beat Ultra Super Duper Dreamy Love Show - Didn't like it
on the Van Der Beek show, but I thought it was great here. Seth Green is
easily one of the up and coming stars of the future. So is Boronaz.
A

[SKETCH] Sex-crazed couple can't rent cabin - The most hyper male star(next
to Ferrell) and the most hyper female star, put together make a great
sketch. These two sex crazed lunatics are so funny, and real. Gellar was
good, sort of playing that Cruel Intentions role in the end. Parnell funny
as well.
A - for regular watchers
B+ - for newcomers

[SKETCH] Little League parent takes game seriously - Will Ferrell is
definatly going to be remembered as one of the greatest SNLers of all time.
This was sort of like a sequel to the character he played on the David
Spade show. Very funny.
A+

[TV FUNHOUSE] Unsold Cartoon Pilot Shack: The Ginsburg Gang - Damn! Such a
great show, brought down by this. Still a little bit funny, but they should
have used this last week, while Lewinsky was selling out, and used the AGD
for the finale.
B

[SKETCH] MTV's Shame Attack - Ohhh nooo SNL, your going on the slow track.
Pick up your pieces.
C

[MUSICAL GUEST] Backstreet Boys - I hate the Backstreet Boys, but I don't
want to be bias. Good performance.
A

[WEEKEND UPDATE] with Colin Quinn - My favourite WU - w/CQ yet. Got
really/tremendously funny when Meadow's was Billy Dee Williams. Can't write
all the funny lines, you MUST see the skit.
A+

[SKETCH] Channel 5's Sunday Matinee: Dusty's Love - N/A

[SKETCH] Backstage at Nick Kid's Choice Awards - Great. Sanz does a better
Rosie than Mad TV's Borstein. Gellar's 'Britanny Spears' was OK, but when
Parnell came out as Eminem, it really picked up. "Are you black". Great
skit.
A

[COMMERCIAL] Holding Your Own Boobs Magazine - Holding your what in the
what now?
B

[MUSICAL GUEST] Backstreet Boys - Damnit all! They are a good band!!! Can't
give a bad rating!!!!
B+

[SKETCH] Brian Fellow's Safari Planet - For the little screen time Tracy
Morgan gets, my god does he ever correctly use it. Loved him on Weekend
Update, even funnier here. "If he bites me, I'm gonna kill it"! Great
sketch.
A

[OVERALL] - It's gonna be sad to see a great season go by. Next year should
be great, filled with new cast members and lots of fun!!!! Greatest finale
I have ever seen. Easily an...
