Drew Barrymore / Garbage
March 20, 1999

[OPENING] E! Oscar Pre-Show with Joan and Melissa Rivers:

I didn't think this was very funny. I think a Barbara Walters Oscar Special
would be alot of funnier. But good impressions by Darrell Hammond and Chirs
Parnell. I bet the Don King Opening would have been funnier. Also last time
someone played Cuba Gooding Jr. , wasn't it Tim Meadows? Well I guess Tracy
looks more like him anyway. Another thing, i thought the whole thing about
Joan Rivers turning into a hawk or bat was really stupid.

[MONOLOGUE] Drew Barrymore:

Decent Monologue.

[SKETCH] Celebrity Jeopardy:

It looks like Sean Connery is the new returning Champion, after Norm left. I
must say, since Norm left the show, this sketch just isn't as funny. Also is
it me or was this Celebrity Jeoprady alittle short?

[SKETCH] "How are you doing?" in Banana Republic:

Could have done without seeing this sketch.

[COMMERCIAL] VH1 Behind the Music: Captain and Tenille:

Im really getting sick of seeing these.

[SKETCH] The How Do You Say? Ah Yes, Show:

I'm glad they didn't do the same thing like they did the last 2 times they did
this sketch. So this one wasn't that bad.

[TV FUNHOUSE] Fun With Real Audio: Oscar Highlights:

Not one of the best but, not that bad.

[WEEKEND UPDATE] with Colin Quinn:

Colin sucked as usual. Clinton was alright, kinda of getting old, and Kattan
was just stupid.

*Cough* They suck *Cough*

[SKETCH] Dog Show:

Dog Show was never funny IMO. I still don't find it funny.

[COMMERCIAL] VH1 Behind the Music: Def Leopard:

Now, usually I don't like these, but I did find this one funny. Especially
being a former fan of Def Leopard.

[SKETCH] Terrance Maddox models for art class:

I always liked Terrence Maddox, but this one wasn't as funny as most of them.

Their name says it all.

[COMMERCIAL] VH1 Behind the Music: Fred Schneider:

I also liked this one. I always thought those little things Fred Schneider
said were stupid.
