[OPENING] Spartan Cheerleader wanna-bees Craig & Arianna

Hey this one wasn't that bad. The cheers were good and the two were very funny as usual.

Grade: A

[MONOLOGUE] Matthew Perry

This was okay. The fountain thing was kind of funny but Perry didn't do very good acting.

Grade: C

[COMMERCIAL] Cookie Dough Sport Drink

This was a funny commercial. I thought it was kind of gross at the end when Ferrell was wiping it on his face.

Grade: A

[SKETCH] Celebrity Jeopardy

This sketch was funny, as always. The impressions were a little weak but MacDonald's Reynolds impression always makes me laugh. I was surprised Hammond didn't do the greatest impression. He usually does great on any impression he does.

Grade: A+

[SKETCH] Sarcasm 101

I thought this sketch was pretty funny. I liked the ad-lib where MacDonald goes, "Heeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy" and pronounces it a long time. You can see Meadows laugh at the ad-lib.

Grade: A

[SKETCH] The Ladies' Man

I thought this sketch was hilarious. Tim Meadows usually gets the nasty sketches. But anyway, it was still funny.

Grade: A+

[SKETCH] Space the Infinite Frontier with Harry Caray

Again, I liked this sketch even though I have never actually seen Harry Caray. I think Ferrell does a great job. "Hey, don't jerk me around, Ronald, just answer the question ... Would you eat a dinosaur."

Grade: A+

[WEEKEND UPDATE] with Norm MacDonald

I thought that parts of this were funny, but I didn't appreciate the way that "SNL" put down the religious group "The Promise Keepers." But most of the "Update" was okay.

Grade: B-

[MUSICAL GROUP] Oasis

Pretty good for the first time I heard them.

[SKETCH] MTV News: Goat Boy press conference

I thought this was funny, except Kincaid is kind of annoying me and Goatboy is getting old. But Julio and Willie Nelson were pretty good.

Grade: C

[COMMERCIAL] The Kevin Franklin Show promo

This was funny. It wasn't the dancing that was funny, but what Meadows was saying. It just seemed like the writers ran out of things to do.

Grade: C-

[SKETCH] "Friends"

I thought the impression Kattan gave was great and Oteri was very cute and did a fairly good impression. Shannon kind of faded off and wasn't that great and didn't Ana Gasteyer make a weird looking Lisa Kudrow ... but she did do a good impression. Perry didn't do that great, but Quinn was kind of funny. The thing that I found most unfunny was at the end when Perry comes through the front door and says, "Wooo Hooo, Chandler home."

Grade: B+

[MISCELLANEOUS] The Go Lords

It was a great little sketch. Very funny and I hope they do something like it again.

Grade: A+

[SKETCH] Good Morning with Liza

It wasn't that great except for Tracy Morgan. I thought that "Toodloo Liza" was funny, but the rest kind of sank.

Grade: C-

[CLOSING] Matthew Perry / Oasis

I really don't like the way they always cut off the credits like they do.

Grade: D+

OVERALL

All in all, the show was pretty darn good. I hope that when Brendan Fraser hosts it will be good too.
