[OPENING] The Kulps Christmas caroling

I can give or take The Kulps, but for an opening it was kinda weak. Score: 6/10.

[MONOLOGUE] Helen Hunt

I thought this was pretty funny, and the walk on by Jack Nicholson was an unexpected surprise. Some of those impressions sure were bad though... Score: 7/10

[COMMERCIAL] Cookie Dough Sports Drink

A repeat. Kinda funny, but not as funny as alot of the commercial parodies. Score: 7/10

[SKETCH] The Delicious Dish on NPR

I like these two (of course I like almost everything Ana Gasteyer does). It's starting to lose its appeal after repeated showings, but it was kinda funny when they started acting goofy (as much as they can) when they thought they were drunk. Score: 7/10

[TV FUNHOUSE] Fun With Real Audio: Jesus agravated by televangelist

Now this was hilarious! The Fun With Real Audio series is my least favourite (I much prefer the Ambiguously Gay Duo, and The X Presidents) but this was one of the funniest TV Funhouses I've seen in a long while. Especially the tribute to the Peanuts (with JC himself doing the Peanuts dance). Score: 10/10.

[SKETCH] The Ladies Man

This was ok, I thought Helen Hunt was pretty funny. One of Tim Meadows' only recurring characters, I like this one. Score: 8/10.

[SKETCH] Baseball Christmas Wish

Too long. The premise was ok, but how many players did we have to sit through. Score: 5/10.

[MUSICAL GUEST] Hanson (with 'Mmmbop')

Fast forward... (I watched in on tape the next day)

[WEEKEND UPDATE] with Norm MacDonald

Pretty funny, I liked Colin Quinn's being drunk and lasthing out at Norm. Score: 8/10.

[SKETCH] Roxbury Guys (with Jack Nicholson cameo)

I do like these guys, and I thought the premise of them going to seek help was funny. Another walkon by Jack Nicholson was also a surprise here. Lucky bastard getting to kiss Helen Hunt like that! But he sure doesn't have that head moving thing down. Score: 9/10.

[SKETCH] Joan Rivers' Year-End Fashion Show Wrap-Up

Disturbing, and slightly funny. Score: 6/10.

[SKETCH] Burt Reynolds Christmas

Norm does a good Burt impression. I also liked when he gave the 'present' to the kid, and said it was only a prop. Score: 7/10.

[SKETCH] ChrismaSoft (with 'Bill Gates')

I much preferred Mark McKinney's impression of Gates, but that aside, this sketch was pretty funny. I especially liked the slight digs at the Pope ("Let's see if that Polish guy is saying anything interesting... guess not.") The only thing that bugged me is that the idea of Microsoft buying Christmas was ripped off from the Internet, but then again alot of stuff is nowadays. Score: 8/10.

[SKETCH] Hanson Elevator Torture

As much as I don't like Hanson, you gotta give them credit for poking fun at themselves (they did know they were doing that, right?) Mmmbop! Score: 8/10.

[MUSICAL GUEST] Hanson (with 'Merry Christmas Baby')

Fast forward...

Overall: An above average episode with no real stinkers, just a couple of ho-hum sketches. Score: 8/10 (not an average).
