SKETCH: Monica Lewinsky at dinner
After two weeks off during the biggest political scandal in recent memory, you could see this coming. I loved Tim's "Ixnay on the ellatio-fay". Molly Shannon has the odd ability to look ravishing in some skits, and butt-ugly in others. No Norm as Bob Dole? Hmm.....
RATING: B+
MONOLOGUE: Blues Brothers
Not bad. Having Ana, Cheri and Molly as backup singers was a nice touch.
RATING: B+
SKETCH: Morning Latte
This was really funny. Unfortunately, I can see this getting old in a hurry, as this was virtually the same skit they did with Farley a few months ago.
RATING: A
SKETCH: Bill Clinton's Ten Commandments
Funny. This is the only skit, ironically, that actually had the president in it.
RATING: B+
SKETCH: CBS Winter Olympic coverage
Another funny sketch.
RATING: B+
CARTOON: X-Presidents
I almost puked when George was boning Barbara, but other than that it was good. Where's the Ambiguously Gay Duo?
RATING: B
SKETCH: Emeril Live
The first poor sketch of the night. Jim Breuer does a poor Emeril.
RATING: C
WEEKEND UPDATE: w/Colin Quinn
I used to dislike Colin Quinn, but now he cracks me up with just about every joke. COLIN RULES!
RATING: A+
MUSICAL GUEST: Paula Cole
I don't know what it is, but I really, really, really, really, really hate this song. Why not the Blues Brothers again?
RATING: F
SKETCH: Judge Judy
This is the first skit of the night without any reference to Bill Clinton. Tracy Morgan saves this one.
RATING: B-
SKETCH: Martha Stewart
Ana Gasteyer does the best impression of Martha Stewart I've ever seen.
RATING: B
SKETCH: Spanish talk show.
Average, with two great moments. One, when Dan Ackroyd drops the Monica Lewinsky thing into all the Spanish. Two, when John Goodman comes back in as Starr.
RATING: B-
SKETCH: When Cobras Attack
Started out funny, then got really stupid.
RATING: C
SKETCH: Storytellers with Neil Diamond
Why was this the last sketch? It was hysterical!
RATING: A
OVERALL: A really good show. John Goodman shows are always entertaining. WAY too much Bill Clinton material.
