Mayor Rudy Giuliani / Sarah McLachlan
November 22, 1997

Opening: It was funny to see the Mayor dressed up in those wacky clothes. Great way to start the show.

GRADE: A

Monolouge: For a moment there, I really did believe that hitchiking was safe in New York. Pretty good monolouge for a politician.

GRADE: B+

Saddam Hussein/Nightline: I laughed hysterically at this sketch. At this point, I knew the show would be funny.

GRADE: A+

Rita DelVecchio and her Mother: Cheri Oteri is always funny as Rita, but with Giuliani as her mother, it was even funnier.

GRADE: B+

Mary Katherine Gallagher: Not bad. Could have been better.

GRADE: C-

Commercial: The funniest commercial of 97-98.

GRADE: A+

Weekend Update: This was the funniest Norm MacDonald 'Update' of the year. If only Norm could've been like this more often.

GRADE: B (Only because I don't find Norm funny on 'Update'.)

Musical Guest: Once I heard this song, I immediately went out and bought Sarah McLachlan's album.

GRADE: A

The Joe Pesci Show: The only good part was when Mayor Giuliani beat the crap out of Jim Breuer's Joe Pesci.

GRADE: C

"Freakin' Giuliani": Didn't really care for this sketch.

GRADE: D

Janet Reno's Dance Party: I loved watching a former state Attorney General duke it out with the U.S. Attorney General. Ferrell's Reno is still the best.

GRADE: A

Colin Quinn Explains the New York Times: BORRRRING!!!

GRADE: D-

Prospectives: Wasn't as good as I hoped it would be:

GRADE: C-
