[OPENING] Deep Throat's Identity Is Finally Revealed
I thought this was a pretty good opener. I laughed a lot just because Will Farrel I so funny as Janet Reno. I though Molly Shannon looked so much like Skully. I can't believe they kissed at the end!
Score: 9 / 10
[MONOLOGUE] David Duchovny
This was some what funny but pretty predictable. I still laughed a lot though.
Score: 8 / 10
[SKETCH] The Spartan Cheerleaders At Camp Paula Abdul
I was so glad that they decided to do a Spartan sketch on the last episode. I viewed David to be a pretty believable Cheerleading coach. I figured Paula would make an appearance and wasn't let down. The cheers were pretty good as was the dancing.
Score: 10 / 10
[CARTOON] The Ambiguously Gay Duo
I had always wondered if they were going to continue on from where they left off in the cartoon before. I thought this was so funny to look at. Their secret layer was irresistibly funny. This is probably one of the best since the original.
Score: 9 / 10
[SKETCH] Celebrity Jeopardy
It was also a pleasure to see they included one of my favorite sketch series in this episode. David was a great Jeff Goldblum. I thought Molly did a great impression of Minnie Driver. Will and Darrel were their usual funny selves as Alex Trebec and Sean Connery, respectively. I loved the whole "The Rapist" and "Therapist" thing.
Score: 9 / 10
[MUSICAL GUEST] Puff Daddy featuring Jimmy Page
I'm sorry but I thought this was a lame act. I really don't appreciate Puff Daddy. I did watch it though but turned it quickly after I saw that he was just going to scream and yell the whole time and call it singing.
Score: 3 / 10 (It would be a zero if it wasn't for Jimmy Page)
[WEEKEND UPDATE] Colin Quinn, Tracy Morgan, Ana Gasteyer
I thought this was a little disappointing. It seems that Colin Quin is getting less time every weekend. I thought Tracey Morgan had no business doing the impression that he did. It was lame and boring. I though Ana would save the W.U. but unfortunately her usually funny impression went a little sour this week. I just got tired of Vilagra jokes after last weekend.
Score: 7 / 10
[SKETCH] David Duchovny Falls For Mango
This was pretty funny. I always enjoy Mango and all that he does. It was cool to see Jon Goodman but I just wish he had memorized his lines so he wouldn't mess things up.
Score: 9 / 10
[SKETCH] The Oprah Winfrey Show
I don't know what it was but I just really enjoyed this skit for some reason. I think Tim Meadows was awesome as usual. I usually don't like the whole "Goat Boy" thing but was intrigued this time. I thought David was hilarious as Goat Boy #2. I burst out laughing when they humped each other.
Score: 8 / 10
[COMMERCIAL] Interbank Traveler's Checks
This really wasn't that funny. It just took too long and got very repetitive. I liked the ending graphics though.
Score: 5 /10
[SKETCH] The Story Of The Space Shuttle
I missed part of this sketch because I turned back to late from another channel. But of what I did see, I thought it wasn't really that good. I thought the Clinton thing was funny at the end.
Score: **** Didn't see all of it.
[SKETCH] The Go Lords
I thought this was a really great idea but it should have been shown a couple of weeks or a month ago. I'm just really tired of seeing James Cameron. It had a good story line to it and the violence and Leo thing was funny.
Score: 8 / 10
[SHORT] The Lost Deep Thoughts
I enjoyed this one. I would give it like three out of four stars. I really don't think of it as part of the show so I didn't score it.
[OVERALL]
I have to say this was an awesome Season Finale. David was really funny and we got to see a different side from the usual David on the X-Files. I would have to rate this one up there with the Jim Carrey Finale. I loved the idea that they had so many guess stars. It kept the show really fresh. The writing was pretty awesome as were the jokes. Everything seemed to be Grade-A on Saturday Night.
Score: 9 / 10
