PRE-SHOW
---------
Really looking forward to this season! Glad it's starting up this early, and with a great host like Jack Black. Themusical guest sucks, but that's OK.

Cold-Opening
----------------
"A Message from Arnold Schwarzenegger"(9/10)
PLAYERS: Darrel Hammond
*Great start to the season! I'm very glad that Darrel has returned! LOL his Arnold impression is awesome, this sketch had me laughing. I also really LOVE thenew opening montouge! Very new and very nice! I'm kinda upset that Fred is still only Featured, but I'm happy that Will, Seth and Jeff were promoted to the cast! As for the new cast members, I thin Ashantee(if thats his name?) has alot of potential, but as for Keenan I'm not too sure... he was good for Nickeldeon and all...oh well, I will give him a chance!

"Monologue - Jack Black"(8/10)
PLAYERS: Jack Black, Will Ferrel, KG, Entire Cast
*This wasn't bad, good to see Will back although he could have done more. Jack Black is always funny.

"Commercial: Huggies Thongs"(8/10)
PLAYERS: Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch
*LOL!!! Great sattire here, this commercial was better than any last season

"Queer Eye for the Straight Gal"(9/10)
PLAYERS: Tina Fey, Jack Black, Rachel Dratch, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, and one of the Writers
*TINA IN A SKETCH! Oh man I have had the honor of meeting Tina many times through Second City Chicago and she is just the best! This sketch was very funny! I liked Jack and Rachel's characters the best here.

"The Wade Robeson Project"(6.5/10)
PLAYERS: Seth Myers, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Ashantee(sorry don't know name yet!), and Jack Black
*Slightly above average, good first sketch for the Ashantee guy. Everyone's dancing was pretty funny. Got me laughing.

"Italian Cooking Class"(8/10)
PLAYERS: Fred Armisen, Rachel Dratch, Horatio Sanz, Chris Parnell, and Jack Black
*Normally, I would have given this a 7 but sinse it's Gabe Fisher and his crew of people taking various classes it gets the 8! LOL I really liek these characters, and I think Parnell's replacement for Tracy's character was pretty good!

"TV Funhouse: Yankee Super-Heros"(5/10)
*Not too good, not too bad.

John Mayer(0/10)
Music is hit or miss depending on teh viewer's taste. Guys like Mayer are my anti-christ soo... sorry to all teh Tenny Boppers out there.

"Weekend Update w/ Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey"(10/10)
PLAYERS: Tina Fey, Jimmy Fallon, Ashantee guy(I'll know your name next week!!), Maya Rudolph and Keenan Nickelodeon guy(Ill know the name soon)
*The Staple of SNL sinse '75 returns with a bang! I thought every joke was awesome today and the whole everyone just had good vibes flowing. The Bill Cosby thing was oo long, but still funny, and Ashantee(?)'s monolouge was pretty good for a rookie! Tina is just gorgoues and brilliant and hilarious!

"Father, Son, & Shelley Long"(6/10)
PLAYERS: Horatio Sanz, Shelly Long, Jack Black and Keenan Guy
*Not too bad, but too long. It got an extra point because I am a huge Cheers fan!

John Mayer(0/10)
Time to take a leak.

"Wine Critic"(8/10)
PLAYERS: Seth Myers, Horatio Sanz, Jack Black, Amy Poehler, and Rachel Dratch
*HAHAHAHA!! Yeah this was hialrious! You would think that this joke owuld get stale right? But noo the way Jack kept spitting was funny each time! Great premise and a good solid laugh toward the end of the show!

"Telemarketers Mourn"(6/10)
PLAYERS: Jack Black, Amy Poehler, Will Forte, forgot the rest
*Probably woulda gotta 7 if NBC didn't cut it... sucks.

= All in all this was a very good show and excelent season opener. I thought the cast was very together, jack was great, and it was just FUN to watch tonight. I'm looking forward to a great season
