Preshow thoughts: I'm not expecting much from this episode;
I mean,
Derek Jeter's a baseball player, not a comedian. I'm not saying
you
gotta be a comedian to act, but still...
OPENING: Ashcroft and Bush
This wasn't such a bad opening. Darrell and Will are always the
best at
opening the show. The whole, "you should look into the chance
of being a
terrorist," was pretty funny
A-
MONOLOGUE
This wasn't too funny. Jeter could have done a little better.
But it was
ok.
B-
PREPARATION H
This was in the Reese Witherspoon episode but it was still funny
enough
for a few laughs. Jimmy, Chris, Dean, Seth, and Jeff was a good
group of
guys for this sketch. Jimmy was great in it.
"I got to get my H on." Jimmy
A-
IGLESIAS BROTHERS
This was hilarious. The whole older brother with the irregular
mole
thing was funny, but Jeter didn't do too good at it. But Jimmy
and Chris
made up for it. This again shows that Jimmy is amazing at impressions
(loved the mole!), and Chris was just weird and funny at the same
time
with the hair.
A-
YANKEES' WIVES
This wasn't the best it could have been. Jeter wasn't very convincing
as
a woman, but hey, at least it looked like he was trying. It was
just the
hair; what was with the hair?! Whatever. Amy Poehler was great
in this
sketch with all her bickering 'bout the other women going after
their
husbands. I would have liked to seen her take down one of the
women.
"Derek Jeter is what would happen if the Rock had sex with
a muppet."

NEXT WEEK
Why did the announcer dude say Ralph Jackman instead of Hugh Jackman?
Am
I the only one that noticed? He was pretty good in X-Men; not
too
excited back Mick Jagger, not a big fan.
THE MASSAGE
This sketch was planned to be in the Sean William Scott episode,
but
they canceled it (I saw it at the dress rehearsal). I guess you
could
say it was funnier with Derek Jeter in it, just because Chris
had the
chance of climbing all over him. The whole thing about Chris saying
one
of 'em was gonna get naked in a few minutes was pretty funny.
Oh, and
Chris singing to the Enya music was great.

DISSING YOUR DOG
This sketch was great. Will's great at portraying parts like that.
The
insults to the dogs were great.
"I've locked them in closets for days on end and beat them
with no
mercy" ferrell
A-
DEREK JETER'S TACO HOLE
I loved the song!! Haha. The costumes were disturbing though.
Horatio
was great in it, but Jeter just made it BORING. With someone else
in
that slot, it would have been a whole lot more interesting.
"We're of the top five mexican resturants in all of northern
New Jersey"
B
DEALING WITH MOM AND DAD
This was the exact portrait of those family sitcoms. You know
those
stupid ones, except SNL made it 100 times funnier. They always
have
those kinds of problems where the kid can't play some kind of
sport and
he's getting made fun of. Amy Poehler did the exact portrayal
of the
bratty little sister with the clever mind. I liked the beating
of Jimmy
and Jeff with no mercy...
"If I was fifteen I would so have sex with you!"
B+
SHAKIRA
I don't hate her although I hate people like britney spears. She's
the
best out of those pop (latin, whatever) princesses. What's impressive
is
that she produced her whole album, while britney spears can't
even
bother to write a whole song
B
WEEKEND UPDATE
Naked weather was funny and "Sorry we yelled at you for touching
stuff
Jimmy Fallon" was great. Can I just say Jimmy Fallon is the
best? I am
such a big fan. HE ROCKS!! Tina Fey is great too. Her Pee-Wee
and
masturbation
story was great, and Jimmy's response "Very little, if so
ever" was
funny. Seth Meyers is great, i was cracking up... "YOU SUCK!!"
"Will
come play for Boston?"
"Derek Jeter sucks in 3 very specific ways. So hard, so bad,
and wicked
bad."
A+
OSAMA'S PEP TALK
Just seeing them all dressed up made me laugh. Will wuz a great
Osama
and how they were throwing around the conversation about how Osama
was
worth 25 million (American) dollars. "No, it's 25 million
dollars!!
C'mon, don't sell my man bin Laden short!!" The fight about
how Batman
lived in a mansion about a cave was hilarious. "I know the
show, I'm not
stupid!"
A-
MAN PERM
This shows Derek Jeter isn't a very good actor. The whole thing
about
the "dream hair" could have been done better by someone
else... anyone
else! Ana Gasteyer did really well with "saving" the
sketch. She saved
the whole story line cuz it really wuzn't the most exciting out
of all
the sketches.
B-
BUBBA SPARXXX
Ugh, I'm not a big fan.
F
MUSICAL GUYS
This was the best!! These guys rock!! That's all I can say, it
was just
as good as last year's.
A
OVERALL
This was definetly one of those down hill episodes. Derek Jeter
can't
act, but the cast saved the show.
