Hugh Jackman / Mick Jagger
December 8, 2001

Hello, I am Vertigo, I'm a hopeless Aerosmith addict, and I'm now going to attempt to make a review.

Pre-show thoughts:
Hugh Jackman. An intresting choice. I don't really know what he'll be like, since he's never been in a comedy. I guess we'll just have to hope for the best.
As for Mick Jagger, I've always liked Steven Tyler better. Of course, I'm obsessed wtih Steven, but that's a different story.

The Never-ending Conversation:
This was kind of funny at the beginning, but it got pretty old fast. It got a bit better when Al Gore called Bush "snippy" but that was about it.
Grade: C-

This wasn't as funny as it was entertianing. Personally, I don't blame Rachel. I would do anything to hug him too.

Commercial-Loose Bear:
Okay, this was just plain wierd. I don't really know what else to say about it.

Jarret's Room:
I've always liked this skit, especially with the addtion of the DJ from New Jersey. Gobi kind of scares me though. He reminds me of some people I know....
Anyway, this was very good, especially with Hugh Jackman with fake braces.

Robert Goulet's Christmas special:
Why? Why? WHY? Why did we have to be plagued with this???
Why can't the writers think of something better? This just sucked!
Grade: F

Photographers in Black:
This made me laugh some. I don't know why, considering it wasn't that good, but it did. Therefore I give it a

Musical Performace- Mick Jagger
Eh, this was okay, I guess...
(I'm not grading the music)

Weekend Update with Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey:
Why do I always laugh at the terrible re-enactments???
Why did they have to bring on "Drunken Girl"???
Why did that sniper bullet have to miss???
Grade: B+

Dirty Dollies:
Okay....Once agian I laugh at somethin only partly funny....
Grade: C-

Mick reflects with his Reflection:
Mick arguing with his reflection was just plain hilarious. Jimmy did well.
"Pointin' fingers is today!"- Mick Jagger
Grade: A-

Superman's family anxiety:
The only things that were funny about this skit were Hugh in a Superman costume, and his grandmother at the end.
Grade; D-

Musical Performance:
This ballad could have been better.
I still like Steven Tyler better.
(I'm not grading the music)

Donnatella Versace:
Ah, the world of smoking at looking good. It gets so boring until someone brings in the bitch-mirrors.
Grade: B-(Mick was just too funny)

Christmas Kangaroo:
This was almost too weird to grade...
Grade: D+

This was an okay episode. Hugh Jackman did well, and Mick Jagger proved himself to me. Altough Steven Tyler is still better.....
Overall Grade: B-

Well, next week we have Ellen DeGeneres and No Doubt. We'll see how that goes...
I have an English essay to work on, and a history paper to do, so I'll have to go work on those.
Until next time, this is Vertigo signing off. Thank you and good night.
