point system out of [10]

-Dick Cheney-
starring Darrell Hammond

Wasn't bad for the opening, Hammond's impressions right on. Sketch-7, Hammond-7.

-Monologue-
starring Drew Barrymore and Tom Green

Funny connection of what she went through and the scare at NBC. Even without a word, Green was funny. Sketch-7, Barrymore-7, Green-7.

-Pyschic-
starring Will Ferrell, Drew Barrymore and Maya Rudolph

Gotta love Will Ferrell. This sketch reminds of Being John Malkovich when John Cusack is trying to figure out Catherine Keener's name. It was good then and still is now. Sketch-6, Ferrell-8, Rudolph-6, Barrymore-5.

-Hot Tub-
starring Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell, Rachel Dratch and Drew Barrymore

By far the funniest sketch. The fact that they all lost it at one point or another just added to the comedy, Fallon's expression as well as Ferrell's moaning made the sketch. Sketch-9, Fallon-8, Ferrell-10, Dratch-7, Barrymore-6

-Willy Wonka-
starring Seth Meyers, Rachel Dratch, Drew Barrymore, Amy Potite(??), Dean Edwards and Maya Rudolph

This was weird but funny at points, particularly Dratch. That was a good Gene Wilder by Meyers. Sketch-6, Meyers-6, Dratch-8, Barrymore-5, Potite-7, Edwards-5, Rudolph-6.

Emeral
Animated.

Another one of Robert Smigels' crazy cartoons, it was weak, maybe if he had a lizard masturbating it would have been funnier. (you can cut that out if you want) Sketch-4.

-Music-
by Macy Gray

Usually not a fan of her's but it wasn't bad. Sketch-7

-Weekend Update-
starring Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Chris Kattan, Colin Quinn and Will Ferrell

Not bad, the shorter the sweeter. I don't know why Quinn showed up. Kattan is such a lovable nut. Sketch-7, Fallon-7, Fey-7, Kattan-8, Quinn-6, Ferrell-7.

-Action Talk Show-
starring Chris Kattan, Drew Barrymore, Dean Edwards and Seth Meyers

Gosh, I sure hope Corky Ramano is better than this. It was a funny takeoff on all of those really crappy action movies out there. It just wasn't that good. I still love Chris Kattan no matter how bad he is. Sketch-4, Kattan-5, Barrymore-5, Edwards-7, Meyers-4.

-King Kong-
starring Darrell Hammond, Drew Barrymore and Will Ferrel

Ok, I don't know what this was supposed to be, but when Barrymore took a dive, Hammond stood strong, laughing and all. Sketch-3, Hammond-8, Barrymore-3, Ferrell-7.

-Poetry Club-
starring Drew Barrymore, Will Ferrel, Ana Gasteyer, Rachel Dratch and Maya Rudolph

As the show goes on the sketches get worse, only Gasteyer and Dratch saved this one, barely. Sketch-4, Barrymore-5, Ferrell-7, Dratch-8, Gasteyer-8, Rudolph-5

-Music-
by Macy Gray

She shocks me again, as she comes up with another good song. Sketch-7

-Jack Handy-

What the hell was that? Sketch-2

**OVERALL**
As are most performances, they are good up to the update, then they take a dive. This was typical of those.

-Player of the week-
Will Ferrell- besides me still laughing at that hot tub sketch, his over the top heart attack in the King Kong sketch was also great.
