Charlie Sheen / Nelly Furtado
January 13, 2001

Hi! I've been noticing how Jordan Davidson and Mark Polishuk write down a
whole buncha crap before they actually start the review. I'm just going to
give you a review, no information about music videos or anything like that.
These skits may be in a slightly different order.

OVERVIEW: I like Charlie Sheen, he's very funny. I have never heard of
Nelly Furtado. I was expecting a pretty good show.

COLD OPENING (DICK CHENEY AND GEORGE W. BUSH): Well, now Darell Hammond can
no longer play Gore, he can now play Cheney. I enjoyed Will's facial
expressions and in the end when he said "underwear" and "fart"
Grade... B+
Funny lines: None really.

MONOLOGUE: The questions were odd but funny. Why does that fat lady always
have questions? I thought it was funny when Tracy payed for the audience's
drugs. Lorne is so mean to Tracy. I thought it was funny when the college
kid wanted the fat lady.
Grade... B
Funny lines: "Sweet!"

IRON CHEF: I have been waiting for this! Thank you! This was so funny. I
have actually seen the show. I liked how their mouths didn't move with the
voices and how Molly's character kept making that laugh. I liked how the
Bachelor Chef's dishes were "Shark Head Nachos" "Shark Head Pizza" and
"Shark Head with Pillsbury Biscuits". Kattan was so funny as the head guy.
On the show, the head guy really does bite into a pepper.
Grade... A+
Funny lines: um... I can never remember lines. sorry

FOOTBALL WITH ERIC DICKERSON: all I can say is "what?". This was so messed
up. I liked Tracy's voice though.
Grade... D
Funny lines: NOTHING WAS FUNNY

FOX SHOWS: HERPES ISLAND, TEMPTATION TRAILER, AND THE CANNIBAL: This was so
hilarious! Herpes Island is about 5 guys on an island with 10 beautiful
women and one of them has herpes! Temptation Trailer is 5 ot 6 people
living in a trailer for 10 weeks. The Cannibal is about 8 guys locked in a
cabin with no food for a year. Who is the cannibal?
Great!
Grade... A
Funny lines: (in Temptation Trailer) "10 weeks is a long time"

CULPS: I love these people! We saw about 30 seconds of Jerry Minor bashing
some kid who wrote on his globe. I love the Culps! I love "hot mic".
Grade... A
Funny lines: "Kids, we're not at a Limp Bisquick concert" "Let's try and not
get into a mush pit" (both by Bobbie Culp)

WEEKEND UPDATE: Good jokes this week. I liked the "Magic" thing with Bill
Clinton. Ana Gasteyer did Katherine Harris. Chris Kattan was somebody
breaking their shoulder with the same remark from Tina Fey "That was
horrible, Chris". Maya Rudolph was Marta Mercado which I thought was funny.
They need to get rid of "Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow"!
Grade... A
Funny lines: "That was horrible, Chris"

NELLY FURTADO: I've never heard of her. Her voice was OK, outfit was
boring.
Grade... B-

AUDITION: Strange, Molly must stop giggling or I will slap her! When Molly
opened her shirt that was scary!
Grade... D
Funny lines: "do you want to see him or do you want to see THESE"

DELIVERY: This was a stupid dumb random sketch. A mom gives birth to a 190
pound 37 year old man.
Grade... F
Funny lines: NONE

TGI FRIDAY'S: Kattan was funny as the waiter, most TGI Friday's waiters are
like that. I liked how we kept piecing words together and not thinking
about what he was saying. Then Will came in as TGI Friday. DUMB, but
Kattan sort of saved it from an F.
Grade... C
Funny lines: We're not having a race... for the... for the... food
ordering... uh... race!"

THE PERVERT: STUPID STUPID STUPID
Grade... F
Funny lines: NONE

CLASSIC VANDEVILLE WITH CHARLIE AND FLEISY: what the hell? DUMB. Fleisty
(Rachel Dratch) looked like one of my old teachers!
Grade... D-
Funny lines: NONE

AFTERTHOUGHTS
Well I loved the beginning of the show but the last 4 sketches sucked so
much.

BUSIET CAST MEMBER: Will Ferrell (8 sketches)
CAST MEMBERS WITH TIME TO KILL: Jerry Minor (one sketch)
BEST SKETCHES OF THE NIGHT: Iron Chef, Fox Shows, Culps, Weekend Update
WORST SKETCHES OF THE NIGHT: DELIVERY, THE PERVERT, CLASSIC SHOW, FOOTBALL

Basically, the show gets a C+

Goodnight!
