Calista Flockhart / Ricky Martin

So who's it going to be people? Gore or Bush? I don't know about you, but I kinda like the idea of having both...something about disaster turns me on...uh...nevermind.

Here's how my Grading Scale works:
A-Potential to be a Favorite
B-this goes to skits that I LOL'ed at
C-smileworthy
D-okay I guess
F-a waste of time

(OPENING) The Presidential Couple
This is my favorite opening ever! I love this and I realize the reason Im liking these openings is because Im paying a smidge of attention to the news lately. (abnormal for me.)Will and Darrell once again amaze me with their impressions of George W. and Al Gore. I liked the whole presidential couple thing.

Grade: A

(MONOLOGUE) I was waiting for this...and its really awesome that I didn't have to wait long..Ally McBeal vs. Calista...how great is that? "Why don't you eat a burger?" Dratch rules!

Grade: B

(COMMERCIAL) Cracking Oat Flakes w/Ecstacy
Who better to play the star of this commercial, than the all-purpose funny man himself, Will Ferrell. Yeah, this got some laughs

Grade: B

(SKIT)The Culps (or is it Kulps?)
Marty and Bobby Mohan return! I loved how Ana did the guitar to "Last Resort" by Papa Roach. My favorite line? "If your going to say 'Gore is #1' don't use the middle finger!"

Grade: A

(SKIT) Nick Burns
Wow, looks like Nick has gotten a love interest. Pretty cool, except the whole thing with Nick being funny was that he is insulting, and I didn't get enough of that in this one. But it was good to see him again. Hehe. Chris Parnell is SexyMan49.

Grade: B

(SKIT) A message from Al Gore
This was slow at first..but when Darrell started explaining why people got confused when voting...I was laughing my butt off.

Grade: B

Ricky Martin
I really liked this, surprisingly.

Grade: B

(WEEKEND UPDATE WITH JIMMY FALLON AND TINA FEY)
Once again, Fallon and Fey have made weekend update rule. I loved the part where Jimmy described the egyptian pharoah ballad. And Chris Kattan was hilarious! I really didn't like the Charlie's Angels thing though, which is surprising since Rachel was Drew. Oh well.

Grade: B

(SKIT)Animal Planet
Im glad to see more Chris Kattan, but this one didn't really make me laugh at all. I think I smiled once...that's gotta count for something, right?....Right?!

Grade: C

Ricky Martin
hehe, I really thought Chris Kattan was Ricky for a split second. Its good that Ricky has a good sense of humor. This song was pretty good too.

Grade: B

(SKIT)CBS SPORTS
This was not all that great, but it was really short, so it gets point for that.

Grade: D

OVERALL GRADE: B
BEST SKIT: The Presidential Couple
WORST SKIT: CBS SPORTS
HOST GRADING: B
MUSICAL GUEST: B
FINAL COMMENTS: I was thouroughly pleased with this episode, especially after last weeks *shudders*. But I haven't really found an episode that I hate yet. I can't wait for next week, and Im not a die hard fan of Tom Green's. I can't wait to see what his monologue is like. Hmm...I wonder if Jimmy will kiss him to make it the third host in a row...Well, this is MarieRoyce saying goodnight and have a pleasant tommorrow! I bet Im not the only one who uses that : )
