Vintage Forte on ‘Letterman’

Will Forte was David Letterman’s guest on the Late Show last night.

While it was WIll’s first visit as a Hollywood big shot, it wasn’t his first appearance on the show. Our boy “MacGruber” got his show business start as a Letterman writer in 1997, and even appeared on-camera during his year-long stint with the show.

Dave apologized for not remembering who Will is, chalking it up to “taking a lot of pills in those days.”

A 12-year-old clip of Will on the Late Show appears near the end of his segment—which also includes an SNL anecdote about making out with James Franco.
